Rooted in rural traditions, Rob's youth involved active participation in 4-H and FFA, where he honed his skills in raising show pigs, calves, and sheep. His early experiences also include a farrow-to-feeder pig operation alongside his grandfather Lloyd McConnell. With an associates degree in Law Enforcement from Vincennes University, Rob brings a well-rounded background to his professional pursuits.

Outside the realms of real estate and auctions, Rob finds joy in music, playing the drums, guitar, and learning the banjo. His connection to the outdoors is palpable, which includes raising beagles and hunting dogs that enables indulging in hobbies like rabbit, turkey, raccoon and squirrel hunting.
