Jimmie Dean Coffey has dedicated more than 40 years to helping clients buy and sell land, homes, farms, estates, and rural properties throughout Indiana and across the country. As President of United Country Coffey Realty & Auction and Vice President of United Country Real Estate | Auction Services, he provides leadership to more than 500 offices nationwide while continuing to serve clients with the same personal approach that has defined the Coffey family business since 1983.
Raised in southern Indiana with deep agricultural roots, Jimmie Dean brings firsthand knowledge of farming, livestock, timber, and rural lifestyles to every transaction. His experience includes traditional real estate sales, estate settlements, court-ordered sales, agricultural land, recreational property, and multi-parcel real estate auctions.
Jimmie Dean holds some of the auction and land industry's highest professional designations, including Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI), Accredited Land Consultant (ALC), and Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate (AARE). He has been recognized as the Indiana Champion Auctioneer, inducted into the Indiana Auctioneers Association Hall of Fame, and received the National Auctioneers Association Distinguished Faculty Award.

Christa Barlow helps keep Coffey Realty & Auction running behind the scenes, overseeing the company's operations, accounting, marketing, and project management. She coordinates the many moving pieces involved in both real estate and auction transactions, helping ensure clients receive a seamless experience from the initial consultation through closing.
Growing up in southern Indiana and later building her career in Oklahoma, Christa has spent her life surrounded by agriculture, auctions, and family business. She earned her degree in Agricultural Communications from Oklahoma State University before returning to the family business with a passion for marketing, systems, and helping people navigate life's transitions.
In addition to her role with Coffey Realty & Auction, Christa serves as a Business Consultant for United Country Real Estate, working with offices across the country on business planning, marketing strategies, technology adoption, and office growth. Her experience allows her to bring innovative ideas and national marketing resources back to clients in southern Indiana.
Christa enjoys building systems that help the team better serve clients while finding creative ways to market properties and tell each client's story. Outside the office, she and her husband, Jarrod, enjoy raising their two children, Landon and Laryn, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
Born and raised in Bloomington, Indiana, Cody Coffey grew up in the family auction and real estate business. From an early age, weekends often meant helping at auctions, giving him a firsthand understanding of the industry long before making it his career.
After graduating from Bloomington High School South, where he played varsity baseball for four years, Cody continued his athletic career at Kaskaskia College in Centralia, Illinois. In 2013, he officially joined the family business and earned his Indiana Real Estate Broker's License the following year.
Today, Cody manages many of the company's auction operations while helping buyers and sellers achieve their real estate goals. His specialties include farmland, recreational land, hunting properties, and country homes, but he enjoys helping clients with all types of real estate throughout southern Indiana. His calm, hardworking approach and attention to detail have made him a trusted resource for clients navigating important decisions.
Cody is a member of the National Auctioneers Association and holds both the Auction Technology Specialist (ATS) and Auction Summit designations. He is also a member of the Bloomington Board of REALTORS®, the Indiana Association of REALTORS®, and the National Association of REALTORS®.
Outside of work, Cody enjoys hunting, recreational softball, traveling, and spending time outdoors with his Brittany Spaniel, Tate. He attends South Union Christian Church and enjoys experiencing new places whenever he has the opportunity.
Originally from Oklahoma, Jarrod Barlow brings a diverse background in agriculture, livestock nutrition, construction, and business management to the Coffey Realty & Auction team. His experience managing projects, coordinating crews, and solving complex logistical challenges makes him an integral part of the company's operations.
Jarrod oversees many of the behind-the-scenes aspects of real estate and auction projects, helping coordinate property preparation, timelines, vendors, and operational systems. His practical approach and attention to detail help ensure every project moves efficiently while maintaining the high level of service clients expect.
Whether organizing auction logistics, improving company systems, or helping prepare properties for the market, Jarrod enjoys finding practical solutions that keep projects on track and clients informed throughout the process.
Outside of work, Jarrod enjoys spending time with his family, working on home improvement projects, hunting, fishing, and exploring the outdoors.
Rob McConnell is a seasoned professional hailing from the picturesque landscapes of South-Central Indiana. Born in Greene County and raised in Monroe County, he has woven a rich tapestry of experience throughout his life. Currently residing in Monroe County, Rob brings over three decades of expertise in the HVAC industry, showcasing his dedication and mastery in the field.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Rob's life is anchored by a robust Christian faith, his cherished wife Ranee, and the joy of his children and grandchildren. As a multifaceted individual, he immerses himself in various interests. An adept auctioneer and Realtor, Rob is an integral part of the esteemed team at United Country- Coffey Realty & Auction.
Rooted in rural traditions, Rob's youth involved active participation in 4-H and FFA, where he honed his skills in raising show pigs, calves, and sheep. His early experiences also include a farrow-to-feeder pig operation alongside his grandfather Lloyd McConnell. With an associates degree in Law Enforcement from Vincennes University, Rob brings a well-rounded background to his professional pursuits.
Outside the realms of real estate and auctions, Rob finds joy in music, playing the drums, guitar, and learning the banjo. His connection to the outdoors is palpable, which includes raising beagles and hunting dogs that enables indulging in hobbies like rabbit, turkey, raccoon and squirrel hunting. In addition, antique / vintage shopping with his wife for her shop, "Vintage Souls Antique and Unique" in Bloomington, Indiana.

Gabrielle Getts was born in the Eureka, MO but was raised in Bloomington, IN. Growing up she cultivated a profound love for the outdoors. With the scenic expanses of Lake Monroe and the rustic beauty of Brown County as her playground, Gabrielle enjoyed activities including hiking, mountain biking, skiing and rock climbing.
At the age of 8, she discovered a deep-seated passion for horses, leading her to join the Monroe County Vaqueros 4-H horse and pony club. She fell in love with barrel racing and continued throughout her high school years.
Upon turning 19, Gabrielle embarked on a new chapter, enlisting in the U.S. Marines. Serving as a CH-53E helicopter mechanic in San Diego, CA. She also ventured overseas, with notable experiences in Okinawa, Japan. Her aviation journey didn't end with helicopters; she also ventured into working on jets after her tenure with the Marines.
However, her career trajectory took a decisive turn when she recognized an enthusiasm for real estate. Recognizing the potential to merge her love for homes and her desire for a flexible career, Gabrielle pivoted to real estate. In 2023, she returned to Bloomington, aligning herself with United Country Coffey Realty & Auction. Specializing in rural properties, country homes and horse properties, she now assists clients in finding their dream spaces.
Today, Gabrielle's life is a tapestry of her varied interests, from equestrian pursuits and aviation to real estate. With a clear vision to excel as a real estate agent and investor, Gabrielle Getts is a testament to passion-driven success.
Sylvia has been with United Country for one year. She previously retired from The Peoples State Bank as Assistant Vice President-Branch Manager working in Monroe County for 10 years and Owen County.for 5 years. She was a member of the Monroe Country Chamber of Commerce and also a board member of the Owen County Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of the Spencer Exchange Club for 5 years. Prior to banking, she worked for 13 years with Indiana University as a cash office supervisor, Sylvia specializes in residential properties and along with her background in banking she can help you find the right home for your needs. She has one son, one stepson, two daughters and 9 grandchildren. She and her husband Mike have attended South Union Christian Church for many years and like to travel and spend time with family.
Since co-founding United Country Coffey Realty & Auction alongside her husband, Jimmie Dean, in 1983, Phyllis Coffey has been at the heart of the family business. For more than four decades, she helped build the company through her leadership in accounting, operations, marketing, real estate, and auction administration, creating the foundation for the client-focused service the company is known for today.
Although Phyllis has stepped back from the day-to-day operations, she continues to play an important role on the team. Whether she's lending her years of experience and advice, assisting with personal property auctions, hosting an open house, showing a property, or simply helping keep both the business and family running smoothly, her wisdom and steady presence continue to make an impact.
A licensed Indiana Real Estate Broker, Phyllis has extensive experience in real estate sales, auction marketing, accounting, and auction administration. She earned the Certified Auctioneers Institute (CAI) designation and is a Benefit Auction Specialist. Throughout her career, she has been an active member of the National Auctioneers Association and its Auxiliary, served as President of the Indiana Auctioneers Association Auxiliary, and was inducted into the Indiana Auctioneers Association Auxiliary Hall of Fame in 2013.
Outside the office, Phyllis enjoys spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, serving at her church, participating in a small group, and singing on the praise team. Her servant's heart, encouraging spirit, and unwavering support continue to be an important part of both the Coffey family and the business she helped build.

Addie Banks is a lifelong Springville resident who brings a friendly smile, positive attitude, and genuine passion for helping others to the Coffey Realty & Auction team. As our part-time Office Administrator, Addie plays an important role in keeping our office running smoothly and ensuring every client and customer feels welcome.
From answering phones and greeting visitors to assisting with auctions and day-to-day office operations, Addie is always ready to lend a hand wherever needed. One of her favorite parts of the job is auction pickup day, where she enjoys meeting customers, building relationships, and helping create a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Known for her cheerful personality and willingness to help, Addie is a valuable member of our team and a familiar face to many of our clients and community members. Her dedication to providing excellent customer service helps support our mission of helping people navigate life's transitions with confidence and care.
